Who I Work With
My clients span a wide range of ages, goals, and fitness backgrounds. Some are working through complex challenges like cancer recovery, pregnancy and postpartum, injury rehab, or other medical considerations. Others simply want a reliable, no-nonsense path to get stronger, move better, look good and feel good in their body.
Wherever you’re starting from—rebuilding after an injury, training through a health condition or just looking to get stronger or move better—that’s where we start. I combine clinical insight with a strong foundation in classic strength training to create programs that are tailored, intentional, and built to last.
Creating Your Program
I tailor every program to the specific needs of each client, targeting not just symptoms but the root causes of discomfort or limitation. I analyze how you move, pinpoint areas for improvement, and build a clear, personalized plan to boost strength, mobility, and performance.
This hands-on approach speeds up recovery, prevents future injuries, and supports long-term health. By combining strength, flexibility, and stability training, I help you build a body that works better—and lasts longer. You’ll move with more confidence, feel stronger in everyday life, and gain a deeper understanding of how your body works. My goal is simple: help you move better, feel better, and and thrive in every aspect of daily life.

What My Clients Say
-
Joe is by far the best trainer with whom I have worked. Among a long list of outstanding characteristics, is Joe’s attention to detail focused on how an exercise should be done. For example, any form during a squatting exercise won’t suffice unless it is done correctly. Throughout an exercise cycle, Joe gently nudges me to make slight alterations to my form. I highly recommend Joe.

Joe is truly an amazing coach!!! His professionalism and knowledge of body mechanics is remarkably on point. Over the years he has helped me work through injuries and body “quirks” making me stronger and more confident in anything I tackle. His humor and overall fun personality are an added bonus to help pull through the sweat and tears. Joe embodies the perfect combination of tough love and empathy - again AMAZING!

-
Joe has been an amazing trainer for me, helping me push myself to the next levels while giving me information I need to know what to eat and how to properly recover. He’s got an insane amount of knowledge of anatomy and nutrition, and I never got bored because the workouts would constantly build and change. Unlike other trainers that focus on regular gym movements, Joe’s programs have dynamic, twisting motions that translate to being not just stronger but also better at all non-gym activities.

Joe was my personal trainer for six months. After too many years of not exercising, I started working out with Joe in summer 2015. I was out of shape, uncomfortable, and quite the project. With Joe's guidance, I was excited to work out every time we met. He taught me how to have fun and work hard while getting healthier. He's knowledgeable, makes me listen to my body, pushes me hard (but safely), and always made me feel like I could get to where I wanted to be. He gave me a ton of confidence, and the momentum I needed to keep working hard when he wasn't around. He's serious, but also funny and kind, and I found him a perfect combination of motivation without making me feel intimidated. I went from a size 16 to a size 10, improved muscle tone, flexibility, strength, and most of all, I'm just really happy. I'm working out almost every day because he made me love it. Highly recommend for any level of fitness.
